2010 Na Hoku Festival – One On One with Cas Haley (Coming to the Big Island Soon)

I was invited to the 2010 Na Hoku Hanohano Festival and Awards show this past weekend and had a blast.

The weekend consisted of many workshops before the actual awards show took place on Sunday.

The first workshop I went to was a one on one session with Texas Reggae singer Cas Haley (Runner up on America’s Got Talent) who is coming to the Big Island to perform at the Honoka’a Theater on Saturday June 12th at 8:00 Pm

Cas talked to us about why and how he got into reggae music as well as how he got pushed into trying out for the TV show.

Cas jammed out for quite some time and played a few of his songs from his new album that is scheduled to come out soon.  When he was done talking to us… he was generous to give everyone in attendance a free CD!
