Forbes Ranks Four Seasons Hualalai on Big Island “Top Beach Resort”

Forbes Magazine today ranked the the Four Seasons Hualalai on the Big Island as the “Top Beach Resort” in the world.

The Four Seasons Hualalai illuminates the best of Hawaii’s natural allure: from the open-air lobby with bright floral arrangements to the guest bungalows carved into the black lava earth with ocean views (some have outdoor showers). Two outdoor pools offer visitors a choice of lounging in private tiki huts or white-tented cabanas. Either way, staff dotes on guests’ every poolside request.

2009 Pahoa Parade

Since I had a once in a chance opportunity of a lifetime yesterday to be the first “client” on the Umauma Falls Zipline Experience yesterday, I didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the actual parade.

Here are some shots that I was able to capture as people were getting ready for the parade.
