The Liberty Belles

The public is invited to spend “A Night to Remember” with military, civic and community dignitaries on historic Ford Island as Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor celebrates its 3rd anniversary with a gala to benefit its fundraising efforts. The event will take place Thursday, December 3, 5:30 to 9:30pm.

The evening will honor Medal of Honor Recipient Captain Thomas J. Hudner, Jr. USN (Ret.) who will be the featured speaker. Honorary Chair is celebrity Jim Nabors. Museum founding Chairman of the Board Adm. Ronald Hays will also be honored for his contributions to the Museum.

Hangar 37’s gallery will be the scene of music and entertainment with comedian Bo Irvine as emcee, along with the 1940s-style singing group the Liberty Belles and celebrity Jim Nabors entertaining. A major focus of the evening will be over $50,000 in donated prizes, which guests can enter to win. The evening’s cuisine is being specially prepared and catered by Chef Chai of Chai’s Island Bistro.

Guests will be among the first visitors to get up close and personal with the Museum’s four newest aircraft: a MiG-15, F-4 Phantom II, F-102A Delta Dagger, and an F-86A

Pacific Aviation Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Its mission is to develop and maintain an internationally recognized aviation museum on historic Ford Island that educates young and old alike, honors aviators and their support personnel who defended freedom in The Pacific Region, and preserves Pacific aviation history.
