O’oma Project Scaled Back After Concerns of Golf Course and Second Home Market Clause

I mentioned last week that I met with Developers of the planned O’oma Beachside Village that is planning on going up near NELHA.


What I didn’t know, was how much planning has gone into this prior to this year.

I just came across this 2007 O’oma Village Report:

The original plans for this “Affordable Housing Project” was to have a Golf Course and it was also planned as a “SECOND HOME MARKET” (See page 7)

Anyone that can afford a “Second Home” doesn’t get categorized in the “Affordable Housing Sector” population of people in my book.
