Hawaii Electronic Music Festival Kicks-Off With a Naeole… Pictures

I just got back from checking out the opening of the Hawaii Electronic Music Festival that is opening tonight at Pahoa Village Cafe.

Fifth District Councilwoman Emily Naeole was there having a good time and getting away from her legislative duties for an evening of fun:

It was still fairly early in the evening and the line was just forming outside the door, however, inside still had quite a few people consider how early in the evening it was.

When I arrived Luckey Brown was taking his shot at the turn tables:

His rhythmic beats brought more people out on to the dance floor:

And by the time I left, he had quite a few people dancing to the grooves, including Naeole herself:

The festival continues for the next few days here on the Big Island and you can see the schedule here.

It looked like a good time was having fun by all, but I had to return home because I was at a meeting previous to this and didn’t get a chance to eat yet.
