  2. Michael Green,
It is the same Mike. We left Irving in 1986, I am so glad you think so highly of him. We miss him. I just saw this yesterday or I would have replied sooner. I am his mom.

  3. Michael was my roomate and one of my very best friends when I moved to Hawaii in 1989. I had been in contact with him for a while but lost touch several years ago. I knew he was working at Luquins and was hoping to suprise him by showing up one day. I will always regret never making that trip! I love him so much!! I never expected to find his obituary when I googled him, I was hoping to get back in touch with someone that meant the world to me and who I have carried in my heart all these years. Feel free to contact me, I would love to share memories I have of Michael if you would like to hear them.

  4. Dear Tony:

I was shocked to hear about Michael. I don’t know if he mentioned me. We dated when he was 19-21. We lived in Honolulu and Vancouver together. We kept in touch when he lived in Seattle and just once when he returned to live in Hawaii.
I moved back to LA and tried to find him again through his sister’s phone #. But could not.

How sad. How long did he suffer ?

Damon – I’m not the one to expand on this, I have forwarded your remark to Michaels brother Anthony. I wouldn’t say that he suffered at all due to the support that he had from family and friends I would like to believe that his last days were ones of nothing but good memories for him.

    • Is this the Mike Marzi that went to St. Luke’s school in Irving, Texas for grade school? If not, I am sorry for your loss and sorry for being crass and inquiring. If it is the same Mike Marzi, I am sorry and very sad. I was Mike’s best friend in the 7th grade when I transferred in from St. Elizabeth. My sister (year younger at St. Luke) and I were talking about him the other day and I decided to Google and see if I could find him. To this day, he was one of the best friends I’ve had in life. I wish your family comfort and peace.
