Feline Friday – Georgina the Hawaii Nui Brew “Mascot”

Last weekend when I stopped by the Hawaii Nui Brew plant to pick up beer for the meet and greet, I noticed this really friendly cat that was giving me a lot of love. I was able to shoot this picture of him.
Notice the kegs of beer in the back... what a happy cat!
I just found out the story behind this cat.
“Unofficial mascot Georgina lives next door to the brewery in Hilo. Originally from Kauai, she’s named after Keoki beer…
…Backstory: Keoki means “George” in Hawaiian. Hawaii Nui means “great Hawaii”. Appologies to all Georges, we like Hawaii Nui”

Two Fridays ago I posted my first Feline Friday cat:
I got so much response from that post, that I thought I’d try it again today. Can you see the cat below? It’s in about the same spot as the cat from a couple Friday’s ago.

Well in case you can’t see him… I was able to sneak up on him/her before it ran off and caught this picture.

Hawaii’s best blogger Ian Lind dedicates Fridays to random pictures of his cats. He calls them “Feline Fridays“
I just stepped outside of my house… and there was a cute little kitten.
So I snapped these pictures of it before it ran off.
The last time I counted, Ian had at least 6-7 cats!
