Paradise Roller Girls will be hosting their last bout of the 2016 season, sure to showcase heavy hits and high flying maneuvers to score all the points, Sat. Oct. 29 at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo.
Friendly neighbor rival Waimea Wranglers will be one of three teams at the event with the other being Resurrection Roller Girls, a mainland team hailing from California.
Games are scheduled for Waimea to play RRG at 3 p.m. The Big Island Babes, Hawaii’s junior roller derby league, will have two inter squad scrimmages at 5 and 6 p.m. The main event will begin at 7 p.m. with PRG taking on Resurrection.
Admission is $5 for adults and free for children under the age of five. Tickets can be bought at Jungle Love, CD Wizard, Mt. View Video, Kadota Liquor, Lucy’s Taqueria, at the door or from any of the Paradise Roller Girls.
