Lloyd Rubio, Owner of Big Island Construction, Stabbed to Death in Hilo This Morning

Lloyd Rubio former St. Joe Graduate and owner of Big Island Construction, was murdered this morning in his home.  He was apparently stabbed to death while yelling to his family to get out and run.  I don’t know if there were witnesses.  It is another terrible thing for Big Island.

  1. @Damon: Check your “facts” before you post false information.
“He was apparently stabbed to death while yelling to his family to get out and run. I don’t know if there were witnesses.” Who is this quote from? Your webpage is the only place this quote has come from with no source. This information was never reported anywhere else because it isn’t true.
@Kealoha: You should also check your “facts” before you post false information. The girlfriend was never charged with anything and the police let her go.

  2. @KEALOHA, The bottom line is he was murdered. Though there may be differences in what happened &the truth it still would not bring back this young man.
P.S. who cares about “the huntable deer” thats not the case here. get. Be happy & humble no one is perfect & people do make mistakes & say things that need to be corrected i’m sure your one of’um.
    Aloha

  3. Damon, you may want to update all this as its all wrong….
The story of yelling to family and that they answered the door and he was stabbed in back is all false too.. he was stabbed in the upper abdomen by his live in girlfriend who then called 911 and said that a person knocked on door and Rubio went out to investigate and was stabbed in back” all a false report by the murderer

PS there are no (huntable) deer on the Big Island (maybe a dozen of those Maui deer that idiot flew over here in chopper, at most but they will be gone soon), thats a wild goat in pic…

  4. this is so sad & tragic, i hope the find the person(s) that did this.. my condolences to the family & friends.
