The Florida Lottery announces that Benjamin Fonseca Jr. 52, of Hilo, HI, claimed a $1 million top prize in the 50X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
Fonseca chose to receive the winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $800,000. He purchased his winning Scratch-Off ticket at Publix, located at 125 E. Merritt Island Causeway in Merritt Island.
The $10 game, 50X THE CASH, offered eight top prizes of $1 million. Two of these top prizes remain to be won. The overall odds of winning are one in 3.46.
