The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce presents the eighth annual Building & Design Expo July 20 – 22 at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa.
On Friday, the event is open to the public 5-8 p.m. and includes a no-host bar and musical performance by Joe Conti from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Master of the 12-string MIDI Warr Guitar, Conti’s “Stick” can blend the single notes or chords of a piano with the string bending and slides of a guitar.
Weekend expo hours are from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. Visit with over 50 exhibits featuring home design, construction and remodel ideas including home decorating; roofing and decking; flooring and window treatments; kitchen and baths; solar products and more. Vendor booths offer products, services and information relating to the building and improvement of homes, apartments and condos. Browse through a variety of local plants for sale and choose the ones just right for your location and personality. Be sure to come early as quantities are limited.
New this year is a Grand Prize Giveaway consisting of products and services offered by participating vendors. Valued at over $3,000, this monster giveaway will go to a lucky expo attendee. The drawing is at the close of the expo on Sunday; winner need not be present to win.
