At 9 a.m. Wednesday (July 11) Sepeti Alamti Tuaefe—also known as Joe Tuaefe—was charged with first-degree burglary. His bail was set at $5,000. He was scheduled to make his initial court appearance Wednesday afternoon.

On June 27 at about 2 a.m., police responded to a home on 14th Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park after receiving a report of several men breaking into a house and assaulting a 19-year-old Keaʻau man. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined treatment at the scene.

  1. I ( We) all know this kid as one of the FINEST DRUMMERS to walk upon the Face of the Earth. He is also in one of the Island’s fastest-rising, extremely popular bands. We’ve alllllll tried to tell him to focus on his career, his skills, realize he truly has SHOT AT REALLY ‘MAKIN’ IT” musically.

A few of ” us old pickers” highly suggest some really tough counseling/”scared straight” kinda treatment.
SHOW him what 2 nights in A REAL PRISON looks like..
SHOW him what real badly busted
bodies look & smell like after a DUI car wreck.
I don’t know where the Psychiatric hospital is these days, but SHOW HIM what real CHEMICAL BRAIN DAMAGE & COMAS are like.

He’s a really talented kid..with a good heart- when he’s not all F**** up or running with the weasels. A lot of people, band parents, elders and such are watching from the sidelines on this one-
watching the Perps and watching the Authorities alike.
Weekend ” evenings” in Dowtown Pahoa are almost “dangerous”
these days. Last gig I played at was GREAT !- 4 Hana Hos and all,
then right after our set, some Dude got 4 teeth and most of his lip knocked out..then proceeded to run around spitting blood up and down the boardwalk, in the bar, in front of Liquin’s…looking ( screaming!) for revenge upon the alley rats that ” jumped him”..
Forget TOURISTs, How about the nice couples
that were trying to have Pizza ?
What few tourists We had just entertained, well,
they all finished their drinks in one gulp & took to the hills in their rentals as soon as Blood face guy started bellowing bile.

” JOEY” is just the most ” famous” face of a deeper problem..the whole
“downtown” area is infested with lil troublemakers, mainly selling drugs/ripping off stuff in cars, intimidating folks in general..
Nobody wants a Police state in Pahoa, but the Gangsta Kids need to find a new playground…

If someone in Authority & Rehab doesn’t
“grab the wheel” on this kid and steer him straight, well…
we all know how it’s gonna end…BADLY.

Hang in There , Joey !!
