   It looks like stainless steel. Aluminum and stainless can be polished to a mirror finish and look like chrome.

   Chrome plating would be impractical for an auto body. Polishing makes much more sense.

   The effect is the same. Anyone that would love a few extra mirrors might love this car !!!
