This is growing in my backyard and it looks like some type of squash.
One that is just starting to grow looks like this:
Just wondering if this thing is gonna be edible eventually or am I just watching a weird vine grow?

yup it looks like kabocha … becasrefull of the pickle worms, they are bad this year, eating up all the squash, egg plants, tomato etc.. there is something just for pickle worms, don’t remember it’s name though…sorry
it looks a lot like kabocha pumpkin to me, DEEElish!
