So last night I had the honor of getting VIP tickets to the Third Eye Blind concert that was held at the Royal Kona Resort and all I can say is these guys rock!
While the concert itself was great, what was even more awesome for me, was getting a chance to see them up and close all too myself during their sound checks earlier in the day.
The Drummer, Brad Hargreaves was the DJ the night before for a private party that was held at the resort on Friday night.
I love it… even during rehearsals they still jam from their heart.
The actual concert didn’t start until 8:00 and by then it was dark and I was a bit tipsy from having a few too many mai tais from the Mai Tai Festival so a lot of my evening pictures didn’t come out as well as I’d like.
The place was sold out and I would have to guess that there were at least 3000 people there.
I was stoked to go and I’ll never forget this experience for the rest of my life.
I’m the guy on the left in this video taking pictures up on stage:
