11th Annual Waimea Healthy KeikiFest

Media Release:

The 11th Annual Waimea Healthy KeikiFest will feature more than 20 hands-on activities for keiki, ages 3 to 12. While keiki have fun learning about growing up safe and healthy, they’ll earn credits they can use to make a Mother’s Day gift and jump in a bouncer. Saturday, May 1st, from 10 am to 1 pm at the Parker Ranch Center.

Eleven ears ago, parents organized the Waimea Healthy KeikiFest as a way to share information about safety and health in fun and engaging ways. In the first few years, KeikiFest was held in the Waimea School Cafeteria. When this annual community event outgrew the Waimea School cafeteria, Parker Ranch Center graciously stepped in to host KeikiFest.

All the activities continue to be free.

Keiki Fest is presented by Tutu’s House, which is a project of Friends of the Future, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. For more information visit www.TutusHouse.org or call 885-6777.
