well it just really upsets me the way news and police together can turn a little into alot.. fyi that is my husband (kapahukula ) also a father of three beautiful girls that i know he would just about do anything for... for one the pot was in a black fanny pack found in the back bed of his pick up truck that was not his, and that he did not know that is was even there.also after he had gone with police officers to the station.what was his falt was he had a contempt of court .very true!what really gets me is i can sit at one of these other beaches like magic sands in kailua, kona and see several drug transactions go on like meth ,or crack.and most of them to teenagers that look as young as my neice. very sad!but you dont hear about the police doing anything about the real problems in our community!!!!!!

Well Larry, the reason is that WE MUST HAVE REGULATION! See, these guys were able to make at least a few bucks tax free, but now we as tax payers get to pay for them being locked up and ran through the justice system. Great system isn't it? I especially like how they tried to tie drugs to it so it sounded worse than it really was. Just an FYI, and I know I'm not alone in that I specifically search out and rent from guys like this because I'm not about to pay some jacked up ridiculous prices to some shop that is trying to cover their incredible rent overhead.

The illegal kayak rentals at Napoopoo have been going for years and will continue to go on (I'd bet they'll be in operation this weekend). Frankly, I don't understand what the problem is -- it seems to me that it's a couple of locals making a living. I don't think they're "scamming" anyone.
