Yesterday, The Kona Blog reported that MGBD LLC has initiated a mandatory employee furlough program at Hokulia effective immediately.

I just ran across a tweet from Ross Wilson of Current-Events that stated the following:

I’m sad to hear that Hokulia is furloughing 80 out of its 100 employees and it’s not a good sign for the Big Island economy.
