My son turned five back in June and between my half brother having a baby about 3 months ago, and my son getting old enough to enjoy the “Disney” experience, we thought we would head to California for a week.

We then met up with my half brother who I hadn’t seen in close to 30 years and went off to Compton, California to visit my grandmother on my father’s side.  (I’ll be blogging about this later)

We had a three day park hopper which allowed us to pick and choose between Disneyland and Disneyland California Adventures Park.

The first day we chose California Adventures.

California Adventures is basically a theme park with a lot of shows and places to shop.
