Christine may have just missed seeing your question. (Oh! that's right. It was rather succinct, wasn't it?)

Ah well, sometimes questions, and "getting to know" just aren't.. compatible? Odd, huh?

While she appreciates your "feedback", I think I can actually answer your question: Yes.

I appreciate your feedback and realize new ideas like this are often met with skepticism first before acceptance and openness. No worries. But just thought you'd might want to take some time to get to know some of us as like you, we are bloggers too with a passion for the areas we cover. It may be from different backgrounds, sectors, geographies and areas of interest, but I'd like to think we all have more in common than differences.

Thankful to those who have been supportive of this idea. The alternative would have been to not try it at all. Wiling to take the chance as for the most part, folks have been supportive.

Cheers,
Christine

Not to belabor the point, but the term "social media bloggers" obfuscates the reality that are these folks are more accurately described as "social networking (buzz and viral) marketers".

That, in itself, is all fine and well, but many of us blog for much less commercial reasons and it might be useful to be clear on the distinctions, particularly as we decide how we might participate in this unfolding digital etch-a-sketch.

(My Mai Tai? No need, the plastic stuff, thanks.)
