It was Armed Forces Day today at the Hilo Airport.
Visitors line up to view the cockpit of a U.S. Coast Guard C-130 Hercules aircraft, Saturday, May 16, 2009, during an Armed Forces Day air show at Hilo International Airport, Hawaii.
The Hawaii Air National Guard hosted the show to give the public a chance to view various aircraft stationed in Hawaii and to generate public interest in the military.
The open house was structured so the Hilo community can have an opportunity to see military aircraft they would normally never have the opportunity to see.
