Census Work… Almost Pau

Today was supposed to be the last day of my census canvassing.  It was a great area to be working in.

I have to say, that out of all of the Census workers in America… the area that our crew canvassed has to be one of the most interesting and beautiful areas in America.

Today, one of our crew members got to canvas the Lava Flow!

I wonder if any of the houses that he canvassed will actually be there in 10 to 20 years?

I got a message about half way through the day asking me if I wanted to head to Hawaii Ocean View Estate tomorrow with a 4×4.

I need the money… I took the extra day.   I’m actually looking forward to it, because I don’t get to that side of the island very often.

  1. Wow a lava flow! We don’t have any of those around here. The most “unique” thing I canvassed was a bankrupt housing development. 400+ deleted addresses for homes that were never built. We finished canvassing in our area on Friday of last week. I have enjoyed reading your blog comments about address canvassing in Hawaii. I hope you return for future projects and blog about them. Thanks for keeping your blog.
