This morning was the 2009 Pahoa “Egg Rush”.
This was my son’s second time attending the event.
About 200 or so kids came out for an early easter egg celebration.

There were events for the kids such as this foot race held inside the gym.
Take the slippahs off... you run faster with them on your hands!
There was a Hot Dog eating contest:
There was arts and crafts:
There was face painting:
The Hawaiian Beaches Action Team was there cooking up hot dogs and serving shave ice.
The HELCO Toy’s for Tot’s Train was there.
All aboard!
A good time was had by all and I’m glad the weather held up for everyone.
