7. It is strongly recommended that all participants wear proper protective gear including: covered shoes, knee pads, elbow pads, and safety helmets.
8. Hours of operation shall begin no earlier than 7:00 a.m. and end no later than 7:00 p.m., and must be approved by the Director.
9. Penalty provisions:
A. Violation of these rules may subject the offender to administrative penalty under Subsection B and criminal petty misdemeanor penalty of Subsection C.

permanently banned by the director from using the skateboarding

  1. Got any pictures of this park? Is it all street obstacles like rails, ledges, and such? Are there bowls and/or halfpipes, too?

Damon – I believe these rules apply to all skate parks on the island.
A few pictures of the Pahoa Skatepark can be found here.

Interestingly enough, the county has posted these rules, however, will not assume any liability for any injuries occurred at the Pahoa Skatepark… I’m not sure about other ones on the island. The Pahoa Skate park was not funded with County Money… FWIW.
