Help Wanted: Damn Mosquitoes

I blogged about how Mosquitoes and Garlic were a myth earlier.  I’m still getting eaten alive!  By the way… I’ve also heard that AVON Skin so soft is also a myth.

Bug spray does work, but the smell is so strong it makes my wife complain.  I only get to use it inside the house when I’m down stairs and away from her.

So my question… What is the best way to get rid of an itch once you’ve been bitten by a mosquitoe?

I know that when I itch it… it just gets worst.  I’ve used Caladryl and that doesn’t seem to help.

Anyone have any home remedies for a nasty bug itch?

  1. Oh, thought you were talking about stopping them from biting you (in the house). For outside, just cover up and stay away from certain kinds of food. Don’t ask me what kinds, but I have heard that some food that you eat make you emit certain ‘smells’ that attract them.

  2. Put Listerine around your doors (rub them on) and windows. Thats what pops said.

Damon – How is that going to stop the itching after the bite?
