CBS news is reporting that McCains VP candidate, Sarah Palin, attended UH HILO for a short period.
According to a biography – “Sarah” by Kaylene Johnson – Palin and three friends went to the University of Hawaii at Hilo after graduation from high school in Alaska in 1982. But they left after a few weeks because of the constant rain there, the book said.
The registrar at Hawaii-Hilo has no record that she ever enrolled, school officials said Thursday.
She obviously knows of the rain here. I wonder if she just intended to go to UH Hilo but never enrolled because of the rain?

Dog Chapman Concentrating on Meth Dealers

Just noticed that the Dog is filming in Colorado. From the sounds of his statement, it looks like this season may be concentrating on the Meth Dealers:
…Methamphetamine has come to Mesa County, so we don’t like that,” Chapman said, standing outside the courthouse and flanked by excited court-goers.
“It’s kind of like running rampant up here, so we’re here to do what we can do,” he said.
Chapman, who had his bounty hunting crew and a TV crew in tow, said they plan to pick up “some of the top players in the meth world…”
