Punahou Football Ranked 36th in the Nation, and Obama Doesn’t Have Anything to Do With It

Punahou’s football team has been pre-season ranked 36th in the nation according to the “Rivals” site which is pretty reliable.

I’m actually surprised that they are ranked so high.

One player alone probably puts them up there:

Manti Te’o can go into any college in the nation and probably start as a Freshmen.  Look for him in the future to be the next great NFL player from Hawaii.

  1. SC is calling him, lol. Though I know you don’t want him to go to so-cal. But man, he will get GREAT coaching under Pete Carroll. I can’t stop saying enough about this, haha…

As for Punahou #36 ranking, good for them. Coming from the small island to crack the top 50 in the nation is something to be proud of and build upon. Keep it up!

Damon – Punahou was ranked #36 when this I first blogged about this. As of NOW they are ranked #73

  2. I love Manti. I think he’s hot. Next Island great. Go Buff and Blue!!!!!!!

  3. Just got back from the ILH championship where Punahou defeated the St. Louis Crusaders…now on to the State championship…
